Class 3's Gusto Visit

To support pupils' work on Europe - especially Italy - Class 3 children enjoyed the opportunity to visit Gusto in Alderley Edge. Having researched the origins of Pizza, from when it was first introduced in Naples, pupils designed and built their own pizzas in the restaurant. The incredibly helpful staff (thanks Kerry!) were on hand to assist and inform pupils about the origins of the ingredients used, such as how mozzerlla cheese is produced, which they found interesting.

The highlight though, rather predicatbly, was tasting the incredible delights that had been constructed. With full stomachs and smiliing faces, the pupils returned to school with memories of another enjoyable learning experience! All at Nether Alderley would like to thank the team at Gusto for accommodating our pupils for a memorable and enjoyable visit.
