RHS Flower Show 2018 - Tatton Park

This year we were delighted to receive a Merit for our William Turner-inspired garden that featured in the RHS Flower Show at Tatton Park.

Pupils enjoyed learning about horticulture

Our garden was inspired by J M W Turner

Our garden was one of 19 to feature in the School Garden Competition - with others being inspired by artists such as Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dali and Claude Monet for their gardens.

As you can imagine, a project of this scale takes months in planning and preparing and we are very fortunate to have a dedicated team of garden enthusiasts comprising of parents, grandparents and friends of the school, as well as our talented pupils. The team meet after school on Mondays to plan exciting events such as these, whilst also ensuring that our very own school garden is kept in great shape!

Visitors left some positive messages

Throughout the Flower Show, visitors to our garden were thoroughly impressed, not just with our creative design, but also with the conduct and behaviour of our pupils who were on hand to discuss the project with members of the public.

The School would like to express its thanks and appreication to all involved in the project. We are looking forward to next year's competition already!
