School Council
Our School Council comprises two pupils from each year group who meet on a termly basis to present ideas to Mr Craven on how the School can be improved. Councillors are elected to serve their term at the beginning of the academic year by their peers.

Head Boy and Girl
Phoebe and Jake were selected by staff to be Head Girl and Head Boy for the academic year 2017-2018. They are responsible for setting a positive example for all pupils around the school and welcoming dignitaries to the school on special occasions.
Both Phoebe and Jake have been at Nether Alderley since reception and have great affection for the staff and pupils. They are a credit to our school.

Sports Captains
Our sports captains, Jess and James, help lead a range of different sporting activities for pupils in the school, including intra-house tournaments across a range of different sporting disciplines. They are also a huge help in organising the sports display and being positive role models in helping our younger children recognise the benefits of leading a healthy lifestyle.

Safeguarding Officer
At Nether Alderley Primary School, we are committed to ensuring that the safeguarding and wellbeing of our pupils and families remains our primary concern. Eva has been appointed as Safeguarding Officer to help staff to lead safeguarding across the school. Her responsibilities include leading assemblies for pupils on a range of different subjects, such as online safety and anti-bullying. Eva also assumes responsibility for organising different competitions for pupils on the theme of safeguarding and creating a display with tips and advice for pupils.

Recycling Officers
Tom and Theo share our commitment to making Nether Alderley Primary School an environmentally conscious community. Working alongside our Eco-Committee, our recycling officers help us to recognise ways in which we can help protect the environment through our daily actions. Theo and Tom ensure that paper recycling bins are regularly emptied and that waste is kept to a minimum.

Eco-Committee
Led by Mrs Seymour, the Eco-Committee meet on a regular basis to devise ways of helping the school to conserve energy and increase pupils' awareness of their environmental responsibilities. They lead competitions and assemblies for pupils and offer useful tips to help increase pupils' understanding of the need to live a 'green' lifestyle.
