We arrived safely and enjoyed a walk up to the centre in with the sun poking through the clouds. After lunch and a spot of bed-making we were straight into our first sessions.
The weather has been ok - just a couple of showers and we all managed to stay dry.... until the piranha pool. Luckily our problem-solving tasks were completed just before the piranhas were released! We have also enjoyed the Knight's Challenge, climbing, zip wire and the trapeze.
The food is superb as always and all children are having a wonderful time. As predicted, the busy schedule has completely worn the pupils out and they are all sound asleep right now.
What a brilliant day! The pupils have especially enjoyed the water activities on the lake today - canoeing and raft-building and a special mention must go to Mr Draper for his willingness to join in the fun (see photos)! As well as getting drenched in the lake, the chidlren have enjoyed archery (James particularly impressed) as well as problem-solving sessions quest and the dungeons. Another popular activity from today was the crate challenge. All in all, a wonderful day. The children are now tired and ready for a peaceful sleep ahead of our journey home tomorrow afternoon.
